They all seem to be pretty good but i aim to make my own ipod pretty much i am a little sick of having my ipod not play .ogg. And i mean Linux is already ported to arm and via platforms so i am pretty sorted then all i really need is mplayer and a little bit of disk space to put some music on! :D

So once i or… IF i get something working i will put up a tutorial on what i done then i will aim to put my Operating system project to be aimed for an opensource media player type thing :D

And i am working on a pdf for you guys “Modern approach to i386 OS Development”

Because everything you see now is all old school using boot disks ever 10 min when you fix a bug in your assembly but really now you dont need this all you need is qemu/bochs and all the info is dated 1998 but really alot of stuff has changed since then and really its makes you learn alot!!! Of how your hardware does stuff for you.

I think Softwear developers forget the amount of stuff your hardware actually does for you now adays like when you think of it if you are a java developer esp you are sooo hidden from what your computer actually does to do everything you are getting java to do. But yeah its a great learning experience :D
